When I first time noticed the book in one of the Heathrow's bookstore I didn't expect much, but as I had to read something during my flight and I have a big interest in the globalization topic I decided to give it a chance.
A good thing about this book is that the author doesn’t show just positive aspects of globalization but also negative. It deeply analyses stereotypes about the globalization, which shows many of frequently discussed issues in very different light. The author gives arguments in very clear, consequent way and backs them up with many statistic figures.
The book argues that there is no good alternative to the globalization (which started more than 500 years ago)...because by isolating a country we would achieve very little... good example of such isolated countries are North Korea, Belarus, and Cuba. I think none of us would like to live there.
However most important is that we could just choose how good or bad the globalization can be.
